Hannah Banks riding Pocket Change - March 2010

Iron Star hosts this horse trial in memory of our lesson pony "Pocket Change" aka Tony the Pony. Tony the Pony was tragically killed in July of 2010 during a lightning storm. We offer three horse trials a year geared towards beginner eventers so that Tony will still influence young riders to come.

Pocket Change Horse Trials is designed for the green horse, riders new to eventing or riders who just want to try something different. Riders may compete in Eventing, Combined Training, Dressage Only or Jumpers Only.

The Pocket Change Horse Trials is sanctioned by the Florida Horse Trials Association. FHTA Members will get points towards their FHTA End of the Year Awards. Members, be sure to indicate your FHTA member # on the registration form so we can send in your scores.
